On Wednesday 22nd February, 2023 at Sofitel Hotel, Denarau Resort, Nadi, Fiji, the Prime Minister, Hon. Hu’akavameiliku led the Kingdom’s delegation, in his capacity as Prime Minister and Minister of Education attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Pacific ECD Forum.   The Opening Ceremony was also attended by the other Pacific Leaders: the Prime Minister of Fiji, Hon Sitiveni Rabuka (Pacific ECD Champion), Prime Minister of Samoa, Hon Fiame Naomi Mata’afa and Vice-President of Kiribati, Mr Teuea Toatu.

The Evaluation Stakeholder Workshop for the Capacity Building and Update of the Hazard and Exposure Database for the Pacific Catastrophe Risk Assessment Financing Initiative (PCRAFI II) under the Pacific Community funded by the multi-donor trust fund administrated by the World Bank held today and conducted by SPC team led by Mrs. Eileen Turare, PCRAFI II Project Manager.

Tiofilusi Tiueti awaited the Guest of Honor HE Mr. Munenaga, Japan's Ambassador and Beneficiaries of the Grants at St George Conference Room Level 2, which marked the Signing of Grant Assistance for 3 new projects under the GGP Program funded by the Government of Japan with a total cost of USD$254,696
