The Hon.Minister met with Mr Munkhtuya Altangerel and MR Krishnan Narasimhan, Deputy Programme Manager, United National Capital Development Fund and their team in Suva, Fiji. The Minister congratulated Ms. Altangerel on her new appointment as the United Nation Development Programme Resident Representative. The deliberations focussed on the UNDP Gov4Res programme and integration of CCDRM into PFM processes and strengthen of accountability in Public Finances, UNCDF reviewing Tonga’s National Financial Inclusion strategy (NFIS), Parametric Insurance Product through the Tonga Development Bank, and any potential assistance to housing project, PFM relevant areas and other issues.
