CSU support at PROJECT Level: Implementation support to all Projects & PMU E&S Officers
ØConduct Needs Assessments & prepare
E&S Instruments for new projects
ØReview E&S Assessment & Screening
of project activities- identification of potential environmental and social
project risks and impacts throughout the project cycle
ØProvide guidance and support to PMUs and
IAs to ensure continuous meaningful communication and genuine engagement with
project stakeholders including those who are vulnerable or marginalized;
ØWhen required by EA/ WB Conduct due
diligence , develop E&S instruments ensuring they uphold health, safety and
labor standards;
ØSupport PMUs and IAs in managing and
monitoring E&S risks including any potential loss in access to land,
services or livelihoods arising from project activities;
ØReview and explore with PMUs and IAs
effective grievance management services, across all project activities.
