Common to all divisions requires capacity to:

  • Cultivate and ensure MFNP policy choices are based on informed decisions
  • Provision of first opinion policy note to all presentation and representations of the Ministry: internally within Government, customers and externally including foreign partners, regional and international partners  
  • Provision of logical, evidence based analysis of policies, plans and projects and formulate recommendations to help address challenges and identify viable solutions
  • Prepare clear well-articulated reports/documents (text, charts and tables) and power point presentations, with clear recommendations  
  • Maintain effective database management through data compilation, analysis, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
  • Use standard software better to prepare better documents, tables, charts  
  • Articulate outcomes, outputs and SMART1 key performance indicators, and undertake M&E
  • Adhere to agreed SOP with professionalism and consistency
  • Delegated tasks and supervise staff, and provide mentoring at all levels
  • Provide training and advisory support to MDAs
  • Deliver service to the public efficiently and professionally
  • Work with honesty and fairness in all dealings with colleagues in the office and others outside
  • Understand the requirements of the Constitutions, Public Financial Management and related Acts
